Because every single day you wake up and the world is on fire—literally, politically, emotionally. You open your phone and before your eyes are even fully open, you’re hit with children suffering, people losing everything, wars, protests, fundraisers, tragedies stacked on tragedies. And somehow, we’re expected to feel deeply about all of it. I don’t care .
this is a form of communication …your body/ or my body can only take so much giving of empathy caring … I communicate online daily the message by being selective how I share my compassion … going off line for while
