You know… I’ve been thinking. A 9–5 is really just a slave package wrapped up pretty, sold to us like it’s some kind of gift.
Eight hours a day, two tiny days off, maybe a 15-minute lunch if the stars align. Sound familiar?
It’s like we left school only to walk straight into knot
Gooood day , Greeting , I’m QueenB.Divine — how you doing?

You can always find me at queenbdivine.com or on YouTube at Astrology Is B.Divine, where I mix humor, truth, and a little cosmic wake-up tea to help you breathe through this wild world.
And trust me… I’ve had time to observe life. A lot of time. Because when the Universe gives you “a lot” — time, struggle, talent, pain, blessings — you best believe it expects you to use it.

The 9–5 Conveyor Belt
We’re taught that after school comes more school, then college, then “the job,” then retirement — hopefully before inflation eats your pension alive.
It’s a hamster wheel sold as “success.”
A stress pot we sit in from childhood to old age — and we’re told to be grateful.
And then yesterday, I saw something that made me pause.
The Kids at the Grocery Store
Two sweet little kids outside a grocery store on Vancouver Island — vests on, holding signs that said “Cookies $6.”
Six, maybe seven years old.
Begging for money… on a weekend.
And my spirit said:
“This is the last generation of real childhood, and we’re wasting it.”
Executives of those cookie companies?
They’re on vacation right now sipping margaritas while those kids stand in the cold selling snacks to fund sports their taxes should already cover.
We got kids working for crumbs while adults shrug and say,
“Well, it’s cute.”
Childhood used to be a sacred chapter.
Now we’re ripping pages out of it.
And parents — some knowingly, some not — are dumping adult pressures onto babies, hoping the next generation will save them.
Hollywood takes the lead:
Kids in heels. Kids in makeup. Kids dressed like tiny adults to entertain us.
The line between childhood and adulthood? Gone. Blurred. Stolen.
And Another Thing—Where Are Our Taxes Going?
If schools need kids begging outside grocery stores…
If parents are paying out of pocket for supplies, sports, and basic needs…
