A lot of us can’t imagine someone not liking us. We’re walking around thinking, “Me? Why would anybody be jealous of me? I don’t have anything!”
But that’s the thing — sometimes you don’t see the signs until life smacks you with them like a wet dish rag.
Hi family, how you doing?
It’s rainy today, and honestly… I love it. Rain means I don’t have to pretend I’m rushing outside to be productive. Rain gives you permission to just be. And today, I’m feeling good. I hope you are too.
Thank you for listening, thank you for reading, and thank you for supporting this community. You’re seen, loved, and appreciated.
It took me years to accept two things:
And some of us — bless our sweet souls — walk through life not even realizing when someone doesn’t like us.
That was me. I was out here thinking I’m sunshine in human form.
“Of course I’m likable! Why wouldn’t you like me?”
Meanwhile, folks were using me as a doorstop, filler friend, or trauma garbage can.
I talked a lot as a kid because my childhood hurt like hell. Talking was healing.
Dancing too. Crying too.
You just need the right people — people with boundaries, compassion, and the patience to help you walk out of your storm.
I had some of those people. And just as many who pretended to care but never actually invested in me.
Time. Friends. Challenges. Breaks.
Whatever you have in abundance, there’s a reason.
For me, I had a lot of time alone. A lot of silence. A lot of space.
That’s how the universe forced me to meditate, reflect, and wake up.
And here’s one of the biggest wake-ups:
People can show they don’t like you without ever saying a word.
They just… don’t invest in your growth. They invest in everything but you.
My childhood? Whew. Dragged-out. Chaotic.
“Who planned this life?” I used to think.
I ran away at twelve, found myself at twelve, and if I’m being honest — emotionally, I should’ve been at least thirty before facing half that mess.
I met people who listened.
I met people who didn’t.
I met people who pretended to love me but couldn’t stand to see me heal past my pain.
And astrology helped me understand some of it — that deep Scorpio energy, always digging in the dark, always sensing what’s unspoken.
They will NOT make choices that help you grow.
Just like society will not make choices that genuinely protect your soul.
You can ask for the basics —
Healthy food
Clean environment
Guidance
Protection
A little joy
A little support
But instead, they’ll build themselves a garden.
Buy themselves a dog bed.
Invest in everything except what you asked for.
And after years of this, you start thinking maybe you’re not worth investing in.
Here’s the thing about people who don’t like you:
It ain’t your business and it ain’t your burden. Not everyone is meant to clap for you, sit with you, or even understand you.
Some folks are simply background noise in your symphony, baby — static on your frequency. So today, ask yourself:
Why am I wasting energy decoding people who were never meant to receive my signal in the first place?Redirect your light.
Reclaim your peace.
And remember:
People not liking you doesn’t dim your power —
it reveals theirs.
We ask for:
Better food.
Better healthcare.
Affordable living.
Human dignity.
They give us:
More tech.
More AI.
More distractions.
More excuses.
Every time we ask to be nourished,
money goes somewhere else.
Sound familiar?
So here’s the lesson I learned:
No one is coming to save you.
Not your family.
Not your friends.
Not society.
You’ve got to plant yourself.
Water yourself.
Pull your own weeds.
Grow in your own direction.
Who created that saying?
A tax collector?!
You can’t bloom if you only give.
Receiving is part of healing.
Receiving is part of growth.
Receiving is self-worth in action.
Not because we weren’t gifted or loving or brilliant —
but because we didn’t realize the people around us weren’t invested in our future.
If someone doesn’t like you, they will never choose your success.
Why would they?
People protect what they love.
Society protects money, power, and the elite.
Not the human spirit.
So protect your own spirit like it’s sacred — because it is.
I realized the people I thought were family or friends
did not have the tools
or the mentality
to help me grow.
And then I realized…
it wasn’t their job.
It was mine.
Thank God I had the strength to choose myself.
Wait for NO ONE to save you.
Not your job.
Not your partner.
Not society.
Not the algorithm (because that thing changes more than my hairstyle).
Your success depends on YOU.
Stay one step ahead.
Keep blooming.
Consume what nourishes your soul.
Remove what strangles your spirit.
And always — always — say YES to yourself.
You are enough, baby — not “when you lose weight,” not “when you fix your past,” not “when they finally see your worth.” Right now. As you are. The world will always try to convince you you’re missing something so you keep chasing, begging, buying, shrinking. But hear me: your spirit came complete. Your flaws are seasoning, your scars are wisdom, and your weird is divine. Stop editing yourself for people who can’t even read your frequency. Stand tall. Breathe deep. And walk like you finally remembered who the hell you are.
